Relay For Life® of Bourne-Sandwich

So far, we have Teams: 33  and there are still -70days until Relay!

This year’s Relay For Life in Bourne-Sandwich may have been soggy, but a fun time was had by all!!! The rain didn’t stop more than 40 teams from participating in this year’s Relay. The youth teams took the cake when it came to fundraising this year and surpassed the adult teams by raising over $70,000!

Well, you all have waited long enough to know who the top fundraisers are and who got awards at this year’s Relay so here it goes….

So far this year’s Relay For Life has brought in $122,000 and the money is still coming in!

THIS YEAR, selected Relay event(s) in our community are offering the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3). The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer.
