Nashville Charity Shoot and Baron's Ball
May 31, 2008

Gala FY08 Nashville Charity Shoot - Kathleen's Team

Linda Shultz Charity Shoot

The 2008 Linda Shultz Charity Shoot will include both a handgun and shotgun competition, each with teams of four. Shooters can participate in both the sporting clay event and the handgun event. Both competitions will take place at Stones River Hunter Education Center.

A Lewis Class scoring system will be used for the handgun competition. Awards will be given to winning teams and individuals at the Barrett’s Ball. Please provide your own firearm (any caliber), ammunition, as well as eye and ear protection. Detailed information will be mailed to participants two weeks prior to the event.

Participants will also be given the once in a lifetime chance to shoot the Barrett .416 and the Smith and Wesson .500.

Barrett’s Ball

Dust off your boots and get ready to kick up your heels, as 2008 Barrett’s Ball will be held under the starlit sky at the home of Ronnie Barrett. You will have the opportunity to do the electric slide, challenge your friends to a stick horse race and play a good old fashioned game of horseshoes.

Both a silent and live auction will feature an array of unique and exciting items. Guests will also have a chance to bid on a package that includes dinner for six with Ronnie Barrett, a tour of the Barrett Firearms Manufacturing plant, and the unique opportunity to shoot the Barrett .50-caliber rifle.

But it’s not the chow, the moonlit sky, or the electric slide that you’ll remember. It’s you, the midnight cowboys and cowgirls that kindly give of your time and resources to support those battling cancer, and to the continued research that one day will lead to the elimination of cancer.
